About Play-Doh Cans & Color Packs

Which pack is right for your table

A four-can set is a good first taste for a two-year-old. A 24 or 36-can case is what classrooms, daycares and big families reach for, because nobody has to wait for the blue. Sticks and eggs are wrapped one ounce at a time, which makes them our favourite for goody bags and treat buckets.

Sparkle, confetti and pastel

Beyond the classic colors we mix special batches: jewel tones, pastels, sparkle compound with glitter folded right in, and confetti dough with bits of color inside. They squish and store just like the original — the lid still has to go back on tight.

Keeping the dough soft

Every can on this shelf is made to be opened, played with and sealed again. Put the dough back in its own can, press the lid until it clicks, and it stays soft for many more sessions.

People also ask

How much dough is in a classic can?

Most cans in our multi-packs hold 3 or 4 ounces. Party sticks and eggs hold 1 or 2 ounces each, and the exact weight is printed on every listing.

Are the cans non-toxic?

Yes. Play-Doh compound is non-toxic, but it is not food. It contains wheat, so it is not a good fit for children with a wheat or gluten allergy.

What age are the cans for?

Our compound cans are made for ages 2 and up, with a grown-up close by for the first few sessions.
