Inside the box

Every road crew needs gravel, so we built a grinder that makes it. Load compound in, turn the handle, and pretend rocks crumble straight into the dump truck bed. Squeeze the rubble back out, then roll the truck along to press tire tracks. Finish the job with the steamroller, flattening fresh roads across the table.

The base and molds shape road signs, traffic cones and other site details so kids can build out a whole scene. Four 2-ounce cans come along: asphalt black for paving, plus brown, red and tan. It is a hands-on gift for truck fans ages 3 and up, mixing vehicles with squishy arts and crafts in one sturdy little yard.
