Inside the box

This set comes with a genuine 11.5-inch Barbie doll whose arms, legs and head all move, plus a stand to keep her posed. Lay out the pre-made pattern sheet, 2.4 ounces of compound printed to look like fabric, and start cutting a dress. Two hair molds give her a low bun with a braid extension.

Then comes the fun part: feed compound through the ruffle maker, choose one of its two attachments, and trim the outfit with frills. Kids can also style hair by hand when inspiration strikes. Two 2-ounce cans, brown and purple, add more colors to the collection. Made for fashion fans ages 5 and up; contains wheat.
