Inside the box

Our toy oven bakes cake one slice at a time. Kids roll pretend cake-mix balls, measuring them with the book-mold, and load them inside. Press the handle, open the door and a bell rings as the slice spins out. Stack different colors for layers, or swirl them together for a marbled look if you are feeling brave.

Crank the frosting roller to press a flat textured sheet, then use the two cutters to fit it right onto each slice. Line every slice up in a circle and you get a mega cake about 7 inches across. Eleven 2-ounce cans come in the box, with colors such as blue, green, white and pink, plus two cans each of brown and yellow. Ages 3 and up.
